Centrally-based software installations |
Policy: In order to maintain compliance with
UF IT Security Policy and
UF Acceptable Use Policy, IFAS IT only has the right to perform
centrally-based installations of anti-virus, security patching
and other management software onto IFAS computers. Units, groups
or individuals may make a written request to opt-out of these
implementations. Such requests should be made to the VP via the
IT Director and should include a written justification. Sufficient
reporting must be provided to ensure that the computers in question
